April 16, 2010. Faber-Castell is proud to announce that it has appointed Jeffrey Cheng as its product ambassador for Malaysia. "Jeffrey Cheng is one of the most popular upcoming celebrity in Malaysia, and we feel that his clean and youthful image will be very good for us especially among the younger generation" say Lydia Looi, product manager of Faber-Castell Malaysia.

"I am very impressed to see during the press conference on April 14th, 2010 that Jeffrey also has a good pool of non-chinese fans in Malaysia" adds Lydia. Faber-Castell has signed a 2 year contract with Jeffrey Cheng for the use of his image for its advertising & promotional activities.

Prior to Jeffrey, Faber-Castell also worked with a popular 8tv personality Xiao Yu as its product ambassador. "Xiao Yu has been very effective in our advertising and promotional activities and we will be exploring new ways to work with her in the future" says Andrew Pang, Marketing Manager of Faber-Castell Malaysia.
